PassionBeat - Igniting Dreams, Resonating Beats

We have developed a platform for like-minded people to exchange their passions. I am a student of ISM Dhanbad and my friend Subhadeep Purkayastha came up with this idea to make this platform. It all started when Chetan Bhagat came to ISM Dhanbad and delivered a lecture regarding why big tech companies are based out of India. Our journey started with phone calls to discuss the idea, and I started to learn programming using W3 Schools. I started to make and host simple website using free hosting provider. During my summer holidays, I would spend hours trying different tools and packages to make better websites. Meanwhile, Subhadeep tried to pitch the idea to others to get traction. During the process we included Aftab Jamal and Swastik Roy to help us with various aspects.

We have been through various ups and downs; we pitched our idea in front of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE) and also reached hundreds of users during its peak usage.

Is the universe conscious?

Consciousness is a phenomenon which has intrigued numerous people for a long time. With advent of artificial intelligence, scientists are debating on what consciousness really is. It is defined as the awareness of individual existence, their surroundings, thoughts, memories, and feelings. Complex biological systems like human brains can make us conscious. The question arises if other animals and trees are conscious? Can computers ever be conscious? Is consciousness embedded in the fabric of our universe?
